You can access exactly the same details as provided in the auction houses in Japan. This includes pictures, auction inspection sheets, conditions and more. You can instantly learn about the Japanese JDM auctions from your couch. 

Once you find a desirable vehicle, it’s time to get bidding. You can start bidding after making a 100% refundable transfer deposit (bank transfer fee applies).  The deposit must be 100,000 yen, or 10% if the car’s value is over 1,000,000 yen.

We use online bank transfers, Paypal, and Wise. We recommend the Wise payment method, so you can also save on transfer fees. 

We ask for the bidding deposit because when you bid and the vehicle is won, it is an actual purchase. We are liable for the payment to the auction house the following day. Trusting goes both ways, and the bidding deposit reflects your commitment to the purchase.

Once the deposit is complete, you can bid as much as you like. There is no bidding fee. Request an auction sheet translation, and you get it for FREE. Start learning about the daily current market prices and accumulate data for various vehicle’s prices.  

The vehicle auction price differs depending on the colour, kms, rarity of the model and car condition. The agent will educate and guide you in setting your maximum bid based on your budget and the market price.   

You enter your maximum bid, and we will advise you on it. Very often, we catch customers making mistaken bids. After years of experience in the JDM auction market, we’ve established skills to detect small unwanted details that change everything for customers.  

Supervised bidding is very important. Sometimes the auction sheet’s details are adjusted by the auction before sale. We don’t pursue the bid unless it is an informed decision from you. The last result we want is a customer buying a lemon, or even worse, an unimportable car. 

We can still bid on poorly-conditioned cars, but only after you confirm that is what you want. Very often, we hear that customers appreciate this supervision. 

Bidding is an art, and our bidding staff is professional with years of experience. You can request to purchase only one car out of multiple bids or request an extra third-party inspection report (an additional 12.5 USD cost). Bidding on a vehicle usually only takes 15-30 seconds!

Once you are the highest bidder, you win the car! You will be informed of this through our website as well as we will contact you. Even if you don’t win, you get to learn the sell price. More preparation for next time!

You can update your details on our website manager, including your address and name, port details, the consignee (if any) and customs clearance.  

We will send you the FOB or CIF invoice, depending on the shipping method. We expect the payment to be transferred within 3-7 working days. We will confirm once payment is received. 

The bidding deposit can be sent back, reused to bid on more vehicles, or used to partially pay for the vehicle. 

Our staff will complete all of the internal documentation procedures. The process includes organising internal transportation, deregistering and converting to the export certificate, booking your ship, and sending you by DHL, the required documents and keys. 

For other countries that require custom clearance certification, such as JEVIC certification (Africa), we will complete this for you also, but these will be extra costs. 

We will inform you when the vehicle vessel has departed. 

We will organise the shipment for you. This service is already included in the commission you pay. 

The vehicle will be de-registered as soon as possible (within 10 days) and scheduled for shipment on the next available vessel. We will inform you of the planned dates of port departure and port arrival to your country, as well as the ship name and voyage.
