Why Provide Cars Offer The Best Value?

Many other companies offer “cheap” service fees at a cover, but charge other additional charges. For example, X company charges an “Auction house fee” (JPY 24,000 to 40,000), Y company charges “customs clearance charges" (JPY 16,000), and Z company charges a “Successful Bidding Fee” (JPY 19,000). These are actual charges claimed from other used-car exporting companies in Japan. Did we also mention that some companies charge a “bidding fee” even if you don’t win! We also notice that “extra costs” are often overpriced, but the customers wouldn’t know. Hidden costs from these other companies are EVERYWHERE, and it is so difficult to track them all!  

Customers deserve and should demand transparent charging. We offer transparency. We forward you the cost invoices we have received upon request. All the above mentioned costs are already incorporated into your commission.

Our Commission Scale

Basic dealer: Minimum of 10 monthly vehicles, payment completed within three days. (+2% if a vehicle purchased is over ¥1,000,000). 

Dealers: For a dealer who purchases 3+ vehicles per month. 

Private: 1-2 Cars a year. 

Platinum: Limited to one customer per month. For those who want the best of the best.

Please contact us if you have further questions about the costs. The information below is about Extra costs that are the buyer’s responsibility. They are not included in the basic service pricing, as pricing is case-dependent. Note that the example mentioned below varies depending on your country.  

Auction special procedures 

Occasionally, customers or auctions undergo special procedures for vehicle purchases.  These are the above basic auction procedures, and they can cost. Requests for third-party inspections, purchasing from an expensive vendor (such as vintage), and negotiating with the seller (only pay when you win) are all additional fees. Most of the time, vehicle purchases have no additional costs. But in occasional cases like those mentioned above, we will inform you of the potential extra fees so you know this before we move forward.

Inland Transportation

Inland transportation is necessary for all purchases. The price is the transportation of the vehicle from the auction site to the closest Japanese port or the port of necessity for your country. Auction houses are located all over Japan, and the transportation fee varies depending on the distance. This cost ranges from a minimum of 5,500 yen to 60,000 yen. We charge you the bare minimum of what we get charged and will inform you when you are bidding from an auction with a high transportation cost.

Ocean Freight

We complete all the arrangements for booking and preparing your vehicle for shipment. We ship both by RORO and containers and constantly update you on the best and cheapest option. The price varies depending on the size of your vehicle. When shipping multiple cars by containers, vanning and THC fees apply (see chart below). Please feel free to contact us for current freight rates. 

Custom Clearance

Customs clearance is included in the above commission calculations. 

Country-specific exams and procedures (New Zealand, African countries, Bangladesh etc)

Some countries require special inspections of the vehicle before shipping it out of Japan. For example, New Zealand’s protective biosecurity policies require the car to undergo biosecurity quarantine checks. Exporting to Bangladesh requires a JAAI certificate to ensure the vehicle's fitness. We will help you identify what examination is necessary.

Compliance and Registration charges in your country

We are very diligent in understanding the requirements in YOUR country. We will warn you and event prevent you from bidding until both WE and YOU are sure you can import the vehicle of your choice to the port of your choice.
