We do NOT check the cars we bid on in the Japan car auctions. Like everything else in the process of purchasing and exporting your car, we delegate out such an important job to a specialised company. In the auctions, they check for us.

Q&A – Buying & Importing Used Cars to the Netherlands
-
What are the disadvantages of purchasing a vehicle through an auction?
-
You have only a limited time to inspect the vehicle, request a translation of the auction sheet, and place a bid.
This is a fast-paced process, and while it may seem overwhelming at first, you’ll get used to it quickly with experience.
-
What happens after purchasing a vehicle?
-
After you purchase a vehicle, we manage the entire export process from Japan to the Netherlands.
Your main task is to place bids based on the vehicle’s mileage, condition, and auction price.
-
Can I obtain CO₂ and NOx emission data for my vehicle?
-
Yes. Whenever possible, we retrieve the CO₂ and NOx emission data relevant to your vehicle.
Our team is familiar with EU environmental standards, and if this data is unavailable for certain vehicles, we will inform you prior to bidding.
-
Shipping Time – How long does it take for my vehicle to arrive in the Netherlands?
-
The estimated shipping time from Japan to major Dutch ports such as Rotterdam or Amsterdam is approximately 30 to 40 days, depending on the shipping route and schedule.
-
First Steps in the Process
-
The first step is to register for membership, which grants you access to inspect thousands of vehicles listed daily in Japanese auctions.
After registration, you can view auction sheets, evaluate market prices, and place bids with confidence.
