The basic conditions in the Myanmar market: some cars need an import permit (those below 2007 and those that are exchange for older cars).

Purchasing

All stock purchased for Myanmar is purchased through the Japanese used car auctions. Our customers found this to be more reliable and cheaper than purchasing dealers stock. For access to bid in the auctions go to this link

Shipping

The general shipping method for used Japanese vehicles into Myanmar is either through port Yangoon. RORO is the cheapest way of shipping though a container can be arranged if requested.
The 3 main shipping lines being NYK, ECL and Toyofuji.

Pre-shipping requirements

There is no JAAI test required for Myanmar. Cars and vehicles into Myanmar do not require anything apart from the standard documentation required for exporting out of Japan (export certificate). We prefer that all BL adjustments be done BEFORE shipping though exceptions are accepted. Shipping costs at present are $72 per m3 for cars and trucks and $80 for other equipment.
