Commission Rates
Our commission rates are as follows
For a one off car or vehicle purchase and export FOB
90,000 yen plus 5% of the value of the vehicle plus internal transportation charges
For example, if a 500,000 yen vehicle is bought at TAA Yokohama charges will be as follows:
90,000 yen plus 25,000 yen (5% of the value of the vehicle)
transport to Tokyo export yard 14,000 yen
Total commission = 90,000 + 25,000 + 14,000 = 129,000 yen
OR the FOB = car price + all other costs in Japan = 500,000 yen + 129,000 yen = 629,000 yen
For 5 or more cars per month FOB
80,000 yen plus 3% of the value of the vehicle plus internal transportation charges
Using the same example as above,
Total commission = 80,000 + 15,000 + 14,000 = 109,000 yen
OR the FOB = car price + all other costs in Japan = 500,000 yen + 109,000 yen = 609,000 yen
For a one off car or vehicle purchase and export CIF
The same as above (90,000 + 5% + internal transport) PLUS shipping or freight plus insurance to your port
For 5 or more cars per month CIF
The same as above (80,000 + 3% + internal transport) PLUS shipping or freight plus insurance to your port
For a 40ft container car or vehicle purchase and export CONTAINER
The same as above (80,000 + 3% + internal transport) PLUS shipping or freight plus insurance to your port
PLUS vanning charges of 32,000 yen per vehicle
NOTE .. we have not listed freight rates as they CHANGE every month, they are also charged in $US which changes every day
